Attending the conference were Comrade Bui Ngoc Duong – Party Committee Secretary, Chairman of the Board of Directors of BSR; Comrade Nguyen Viet Thang – Deputy Party Committee Secretary, General Director of BSR; along with members of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee, Executive Committee, Board of Directors, Board of General Directors, Steering Committee, and the Implementation Team for Science & Technology Development, Innovation, and Digital Transformation.

At the conference, representatives from BSR’s Research and Development Department presented the Science & Technology Development, Innovation, and Digital Transformation Strategy for the 2025-2030 period, along with specific tasks for 2025-2026. This strategy is being implemented in alignment with Resolution No. 57-NQ/TW (dated December 22, 2024) of the Politburo, Resolution No. 03/NQ-CP (dated January 9, 2025) of the Government, and Resolution No. 951-NQ/ĐU of Petrovietnam. Resolution 951-NQ/ĐU of Petrovietnam focuses on key tasks and solutions, including innovating mindset and approaches, enhancing governance capacity, improving labor productivity through total factor efficiency, strengthening investment and infrastructure for Science & Technology Development, Innovation, and Digital Transformation, developing human resources, expanding research, technology transfer, and digital transformation efforts, and building and fostering an open innovation ecosystem.

BSR has set the objectives for its Science & Technology Development, Innovation, and Digital Transformation Strategy to enhance research and application capabilities, foster innovation, and accelerate digital transformation. At the same time, BSR aims for rapid, efficient, and sustainable growth, targeting an average double-digit growth rate. The company’s overarching goal is to become a strongly positioned corporation with modern governance and a highly competitive presence in both regional and international markets.

To achieve this, BSR has outlined specific goals, solutions, action programs, and detailed plans for the effective implementation of its Science & Technology Development, Innovation, and Digital Transformation Strategy. Key focus areas include raising awareness and driving breakthroughs in mindset innovation, strengthening the innovation management structure, increasing investment and infrastructure development, attracting and retaining high-quality talent, expanding research and technology transfer efforts, and fostering an open innovation ecosystem. In particular, BSR emphasizes a long-term strategy for breakthrough innovation and sustainable development, centering on clean fuel production, circular economy initiatives, advanced chemicals and materials, and the strong integration of artificial intelligence (AI), machine learning (ML), and big data across its core operations.

In his concluding remarks, Comrade Bui Ngoc Dương – Party Committee Secretary, Chairman of the Board of Directors of BSR directed the Steering Committee and Implementation Team for Science & Technology Development, Innovation, and Digital Transformation to closely follow the approved strategy, objectives, action programs, and plans to ensure effective execution and the achievement of set goals. He also emphasized the need for the Implementation Team to conduct in-depth research and strategic planning to align with practical requirements and enhance overall effectiveness. In addition to the objectives outlined in the strategy, the team must develop flexible and appropriate solutions to support business operations, drive sustainable growth, and achieve the company’s goal of maintaining an average double-digit growth rate.
